Climate Fact Checks

…bringing attention to ‘facts’ rather than ‘fiction’ in the climate change media narrative.

About Us

Climate Fact Check is an independent, unbiased digital platform bringing attention to ‘facts’ rather than ‘fiction’ in the climate change media narrative. We have a dedicated team of environmental journalists trained in the field of fact-checking as per the IFCN code of principles working in tandem with various climate experts/scientists around the world apart from the experts of (in-house tie-up) the Water Climate and Hazard (WATCH) Division of Aaranyak, a leading Scientific, Industrial Research, and frontline environmental organization in India.

Our mission

Our mission is to provide netizens with scientifically sound and trustworthy information in terms of the climate change narrative on the Internet. We are here to detect misinformation/dis-information related to climate and climate change, bring out the truth through a standard scientific method with the help of experts, and place it before our readers in a simple, easy-to-understand manner. We also strive to disseminate climate change and other related information in the form of ‘prebunking’ which can help audiences “develop mental antibodies” allowing them to detect misinformation on their own in the future.
